About Wood Works Raglan
Crafting Your Vision
At Wood Works Raglan, collaboration is at the core of every project. We believe in working closely with our clients, nurturing their ideas, and translating them into tangible designs.
The design process starts with discussing your ideas, sketching and material curation. After immersing ourselves in your vision we produce a detailed 3D model on the computer, ensuring every detail works cohesively and aligns with your vision.
Pride in Perfection
Whether it's a kitchen, vanity, table, or chair, each creation embodies our commitment to excellence. Infused with meticulous care, every piece is a testament to our dedication, designed to be as unique as you are and crafted to endure the passage of time.
The artist
Nestled in the heart of Raglan, Wood Works is more than a cabinet and furniture-making company—it's a haven for bespoke creations. At the heart of it all is Ben Grant.
Ben is a seasoned artisan with over 20 years of industry experience. His professional journey has seen him collaborate with architects, interior designers, building contractors and of course directly with clients to produce functional designs and objects throughout his career. His extensive work in both residential and commercial sectors stand as a testament to his comprehensive expertise.
For the past 10 years, Ben has proudly served the Raglan community and, with his wife Nicky of 20 years, have bought up their 2 boys who are now emerging young men. Nicky works as a naturopath in Raglan, for more information on Nicky’s work visit Raglan Naturopath.
Beyond the workshop and Raglan life, Ben is a part time educator at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson, imparting invaluable skills to budding woodworkers through specialised programs.
